Yeah. I've seen and learned so much since I left. Met other humans, getting a better understanding of them in comparison to the seraphim I lived with. See more ruins. Reading more books about human history and such. Learning more about the Shepard and what that duty and responsibility means. How I can help.....and I couldn't do it without him. Without Mikleo...

[Sorey is not sure he might have made it much farther than Ladylake. If he even would have made it that far alone. He is certain in the end that Mikleo was always supposed to go with him. To guide him, to be one of the seraphim that he contracted with to be able to wield that power over water together.]

I will do everything in my power to make sure that you are reunited with your companion. Hyrule is a land that's rich with its history and landmarks... It sounds as though-- when the both of you are reunited, you will have much to discuss with him.

I'm not sure if he would believe the half of it. But I do wanna learn and see as much as I can, here. Before I head back and tell him and the others all about it.

[Landmarks might not necessarily mean ruins but even so. She says it has a lot of history. He at least wants to experience that. To learn what he can while he is here, while they figure a way to get him back home at least. Sorey smiles, flicking through his Celestial Record and watching the light of the fire. It makes him miss Lailah.]

With that in mind, we may have more than one common goal. Perhaps we can learn from one another. For the betterment of both our worlds.

( He has so many noble goals in mind, and perhaps part of him wants to know what he can out of excitement, but she knows that he's someone who wants to do what he can for others. )

Yeah! I mean. That's part of what works, with humans. Right? That they are always talking, forming relationships and alliances together with each other's kingdoms and all.

[He is. Mostly oblivious on that stuff but he knows of it through his friendship with Alisha and her involvement in the politics of Ladylake. That he has been kind of unintentionally involved in some capacity given the others were keen to take advantage of his abilities and reputation as the Shepard. That he was friends with her so they assumed he would be on their side of the conflict. Fight for them.]

From what you told me of the seraphim, the relationship you share with them is not entirely different than that of the ones we form with humans.

( After all, it was because of that relationship that Sorey could form a bond that could help him save his home, wasn't it? )

But... not every relationship with share with one another can be friendly. At least -- not at first.

Maybe. I suppose so. Not everyone gets along all the time. And some people, it's just -- once you give them a chance? Once you get to know them better. I guess I'm still sort of learning that after mostly being in the village back home. Before leaving Elysia.

[He's still so sheltered. Still so new at meeting others. Not that he has ever been against it, but it is still something he is getting used to given his life in Elysia until more recently. Sorey can't be sure on exactly comparing to Zelda's situation but if she says it is similar than he assumes it must be.]

In... most situations, yes. Unfortunately, I have met others who were not willing to be reasoned with, nor did they have good-intentions.

( There are some who have had the intention of taking Zelda's life. She still can't understand why others would wish for the revival of someone who would mean the world harm. )

Sometimes that happens. Yeah. I know, not everywhere is like Elysia.

[Sorey is well aware he is very sheltered. Is very trusting and naïve because of his upbringing with the seraphim. But even so. Some of the things Alisha had been subjected to. It's not okay. Not right. Sorey cant agree with that. So he does understand that some places, some people, are obviously different to the ones he has grown up around or initially met with leaving Elysia in befriending Rose and Alisha for example.]

While this may not be the adventure you were hoping for, this may be the chance to broaden your horizon in more ways than you may think.

( With giving him more worldly experiences and all. )

Yeah. I guess, may as well make the most of it while here? Or something like that. While we figure how to get me back home.

[He isn't sure how this works. Whether he might expect to remember this or not once he does get back. But even so. He does want to make the most of this. To see and explore and learn as much as he can while he is here in Hyrule. It's so different to his home, after all.]

( There's a pause on Zelda's words before she nods her head, looking towards the fire for a moment. That optimism... It's something she can't help but feel a bit envious of. In the past, she became so uncertain of herself and her abilities... Would things have been different if she was able to feel differently?

She knows that regret is something that she must grow from. While she knows to learn from the past, she must be able to look into the future as well.

She pushes herself upwards to stand then, facing Sorey. )

Shall we turn in for the night? We have a long journey ahead of us.

I guess we should, yeah.

[He agrees, noting that it was getting darker and all. He helps her tidy up as best they can what little they still have out from having set up for the night in having cooked and such. He gets his things ready for bed, checking she is sorted on her end as well before saying goodnight and getting into his own bedding. He takes a bit to actually fall asleep but does eventually, after looking up to the stars and hoping Mikleo and the rest were alright.]
